Veneers are ultra-thin layers of ceramic material bonded to the front sections of your teeth for your most beautiful smile in less than a week.
Veneers can restore teeth that are chipped, cracked, or stained, and can be used to fill in small gaps and make a slight position adjustment of an otherwise crooked tooth. We use high-quality materials for veneers that are custom-created to fit the front surface of the client’s teeth for a natural-looking improvement. Veneers are made to be translucent like natural teeth so that light passes through them, which helps them to blend in better with the clients’ own teeth. In addition to a full set of veneers, we can apply partial veneers on one or a few teeth to help achieve a beautiful, more radiant smile.
What to expect
Veneers require tooth preparation, we file the teeth to make space for the new veneers. Then we will take an impression of the upper and lower teeth, which are taken to our on-site laboratory. While waiting for your custom veneers, we will cover your teeth with a temporary set of veneers for protection, until your custom-made veneers are ready. Then within a few days, your veneers will be applied, and you will experience no pain or sensitivity during this process. About as thin as a contact lens, veneers will improve your smile while still looking natural. With proper home care and regular dental exams and cleanings, your veneers should last for about 15-20 years.
For the first few days, you may be more sensitive to hot and cold temperatures because of the removal of the natural enamel, but this should subside within a few days. The probability of staining veneers is slight to none due to the material they are made of as they are easy to polish. It’s still a good idea to brush after consuming foods or drinks that stain the teeth, especially coffee, soda, tea, and red wine. Veneers should be brushed with a non-abrasive toothpaste, flossed, and rinsed with mouthwash just like natural teeth.
